Isabel Hahn is interested in exploring how privacy-preserving principles can underpin governance frameworks for agentic AI.
Her research focuses on points of convergence across various AI governance approaches, and what they reveal about the foundations of effective agentic AI regulation. Isabel is based in San Francisco, where she works on AI Policy at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States. Previously, she served as a Member of Cabinet at the European Data Protection Supervisor, and worked at NOYB – the European Center for Digital Rights on privacy litigation. Isabel holds law degrees from Harvard Law School and the London School of Economics. She is a licensed Attorney at Law in the State of New York and also the San Francisco Chapter Lead for the Harvard Women in Defense, Diplomacy and Development alumni organization. Isabel undertakes this fellowship in her personal capacity.
